Preventing Suicide, Reducing Its Impact
The Centre for Suicide Research & Intervention (CSRI) is a Kenya-based organisation dedicated to suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention. We provide compassionate, professional support for anyone experiencing thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or emotional distress, as well as those who have attempted suicide, those navigating grief after a suicide loss, and the families and loved ones walking alongside them.
Our core programmes are built around four pillars of care:
- Suicide intervention & 24/7 crisis support
- Postvention — compassionate care after suicide loss
- Skills-based training for communities & professionals
- Support groups for those affected by suicidal distress

“The peer group sessions gave me a safe space to talk honestly. I learned practical tools for coping and built a support system I can rely on every week.”
