Suicide Prevention and Officer Wellbeing Training
The Centre for Suicide Research and Intervention (CSRI) had the privilege of facilitating a suicide prevention and officer well-being training with the ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ.

It was a powerful reminder that behind the uniform are human beings; fathers, mothers, daughters, sons all carrying immense responsibility under often challenging conditions.
Our session focused on creating safe spaces, building mental health literacy, and equipping officers with tools for both personal wellbeing and peer support.
The goal was ensuring ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ผ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ผ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐น๐, ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐.
